Is C-Cleaner software harmful for PC?

If you are a bit of a tech geek type then you must have used some software to clean the registry of your Windows computer. In this case, it can be assumed that most of the users have used CCleaner. CCleaner basically cleans up the computer by deleting various history, system cache/junk files and unnecessary data to make it run a bit faster - this is a popular idea. It's not entirely false either, although that's disputed.

But do you really need to use a registry cleaner if you're using Windows 10 (called Microsoft's "best and most complete OS ever")? Or in the case of the previous Windows OS?

As mentioned earlier, as it is said, regular registry cleaning can greatly improve system performance. That's why various users have been using CCleaner or such programs on their PCs. Some of them are free and some are premium.

When Windows 10 first came out, the CCleaner program had compatibility issues with Windows 10 that sparked a debate on Reddit. And because of that, the question has arisen again that these registry cleaners really increase the performance of Windows PC? Besides, is there any need to use these programs?

Microsoft doesn't think there's any need to use these programs on Windows, based on a smoky reply from a Microsoft official in a thread discussing CCleaner on Reddit. Microsoft is against the use of third-party registry cleaner programs in its Windows operating system, according to the company's support documents. As such there is no need to use these separately rather there is a risk of damage. Moreover, deleting important registry by mistake can cause various features from not working to damage your entire OS.

Now if you are determined to use C-Cleaner, be aware that Microsoft does not support the use of any third-party registry cleaner software. So if you put your PC in danger by cleaning the registry incorrectly, you have to take responsibility. Better yet, stay away from C-Cleaner and such registry cleaners - what do you say?
